The spring Agentic Development series wrapped in May, and the tools have not stood still since. After Directions EMEA, and a steady stream of LinkedIn messages asking “when’s the next class?”, the answer is: November.
This round is different from spring. Instead of a Beginner → Intermediate → Expert ladder, it’s three standalone classes. Take one, take two, or take all three. Each one is aimed at a specific question BC teams keep asking me.
The Three Classes
1. VS Code + GitHub Copilot: The Fall 2026 Refresh
You set up Copilot for AL development, and then the ground moved. This class covers what has changed since spring and what it means for how you work day to day.
- What’s new in agent mode, custom agents, and agent skills, and which old habits to drop
- Instructions files, prompt files, and AGENTS.md: what goes where in a BC repo
- MCP servers worth connecting for AL work, and the ones that aren’t worth the context they eat
- Plugins: packaging your skills, agents, and MCP setup so the whole team works from the same toolkit
Best for: developers already using Copilot for AL, including everyone who took the spring series.
2. Claude Code for Business Central Developers
Claude Code is the tool I use for most of my own BC work. This is the introduction I wish I’d had: how to make it useful in an AL codebase, not a generic Python demo.
- Setting up a BC repo for Claude Code: CLAUDE.md, permissions, and project structure
- Plan mode and the plan → build → verify loop, with the AL compiler and tests in the loop
- Skills, subagents, and hooks: what each one is for, with BC examples
- Welcome to Artifacts and Remote Control: turn session output into shareable pages, and keep steering a local Claude Code run from your phone or browser
Best for: BC developers who are curious about Claude Code or have tried it and bounced off. No prior Claude Code experience needed.
3. BCQuality in Practice: Bringing Quality Knowledge into Your Development
BCQuality is the successor to alguidelines.dev, built for both human and agentic developers. I co-develop it with Jesper Schulz-Wedde from Microsoft. This class shows how to make it part of how your team actually works.
- How BCQuality is structured: the Microsoft, community, and custom layers
- Using BCQuality from both Copilot and Claude Code to review AL changes
- Writing your own custom knowledge files so agents follow your team’s standards
- Where it fits in your process: local review, pull requests, and pipelines
Best for: developers and team leads who want consistent quality from agents and humans, whichever tool they use.
Schedule
Every class runs twice in its week, so there’s a realistic option whether you’re in Europe, the UK, or further afield. All times are CET (UTC+1).
| Week | Class | Tuesday 17:00 CET | Friday 10:00 CET |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 46 | VS Code + GitHub Copilot: The Fall 2026 Refresh | 10 November | 13 November |
| Week 47 | Claude Code for Business Central Developers | 17 November | 20 November |
| Week 48 | BCQuality in Practice | 24 November | 27 November |
Buy now, pick your session later. Tickets are on sale now. In the first week of November, every buyer gets an email link to choose Tuesday or Friday for each class.
How Each Class Works
- 60 minutes of class, live on Microsoft Teams, recorded.
- 30 minutes of Q&A straight after, not recorded. Ask about your real codebase, your real pipeline, your real blockers.
- The recording is sent to every live attendee after the class week wraps. DRM-free: no subscription, no expiring access.
Pricing
Live attendance: €200 per class. Includes the recording.
Recording only: €150 per class. Available after each class week.
Live bundle, all three classes: €450. Saves €150, and it’s the bundle that gets you into the live Q&A for every class. You still pick Tuesday or Friday separately for each class.
Recording bundle, all three classes: €350. Saves €100. Each recording is emailed as its class week completes. No live attendance included.
The classes don’t build on each other, so the bundle isn’t required. It’s simply the better deal if more than one topic is relevant to you, and most teams find at least two are.
New to Agentic Development?
The spring series recordings (Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert) are still available in the store. If you’re starting from zero, the Beginner recording is the best on-ramp before joining any of the November classes.
Teams and Organisations
Since spring, a lot of companies have asked for one thing: buy once, everyone gets access, forever. So the recording bundle comes with team licences:
- Small Team Licence: €1,800. Up to 20 people.
- Medium Team Licence: €3,500. 20 to 50 people.
- 50+ people: €5,500, via invoice. Get in touch first, because at that size a private workshop may suit you better and cost less.
Need a team licence for a single class, or a private run for your team? Contact me and we’ll sort it out by invoice.
